Check out the film ';Rescue Dawn'; with Christian Bale. This film is about a real life man called Dieter Dengler who was held captive during the Vietnam war and eventually escaped. His positivity and courage are legendary. True courage is often on display in historical films such as Braveheart where William Wallace is tortured rather then giving in to his English captors and the film the Crucible where everyone is executed rather then selling out their beliefs to a corrupt system. There are heaps of films out with courage themes. Most war films will have them also. What movies deal with courage? And i could use specific scenes that show true courage PLEASEEE!!!?
The chronicles of Narnia, the lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. there is a specific scene towards the middle of the movie when Peter must save Susan and Lucy from the wolves when they are at Aslan's camp. Also, a similar one, earlier in the movie, when they are at the frozen water fall. Mulan is about Bravery and courage, and Nim's island (though it's not out yet) has some about it.What movies deal with courage? And i could use specific scenes that show true courage PLEASEEE!!!?
Whale Rider - profound movie of a young girl whose fearlessness creates a space for the most courageous of actions to transpire leaving you moved, touched and inspired.
Life is Beautiful - fabulously conveys the strongest of courage masked by humor.
Enjoy!
Saving Private Ryan, certainly the scenes at the bridge, where they must fight off the tank with what limited items they have.
Tom Hanks and his squad is practically wiped out to get to Private Ryan. They went in, knowing that they might die. THAT is courage
