Would a non-Mormon allow a Mormon to use the Book of Mormon as proof that their religion is true?

I am guessing you would say no, but so many people on here use the Bible to prove their religion is true to people who don't believe the bible. Isn't this a double standard?Would a non-Mormon allow a Mormon to use the Book of Mormon as proof that their religion is true?
Touch茅.

It is reasonable to approach a new subject through those things that are already believed. If people believe the bible, and the accounts of prophets being sent to the Earth throughout its history, then they are more likely to believe in the prophets of the Book of Mormon, who were sent by the same God. If I were teaching an Atheist, about Christ, I would start with what he believes, what ever those beliefs may be.
I do agree , but even further more -- I once raised an issue of proving that the bible was even the words or deeds of God according to the profits without having to use the bible..... Meaning '; give divine proof that the bible is really what God intended on us to follow without having to use the bible.. How do we even know for sure and definately that the bible is the works and deed of God without even having to flip a single page in it ? .....no one christian has yet to do so ...and it really shows how christians themselves lack on true divine sincerety.
Quite true. It's probably the same people that claim the Bible has been proven by archaeology. *rolls eyes* The fact that they discovered the city of Jericho doesn't prove that Jesus walked on water.
That would be easy to do since the Book of Mormon witnesses of the truth of Jesus Christ's gospel
Well stated
I'd have to go with no.
Bible, Koran, Torah, Book of Moron.. sorry Mormon. All the same to me, a collection of lies to keep the sheep happy and under control.
I'm sorry, NO! Its a man made book for crying out loud? The Bible was written by prophets of God? Where do you come from?
