Is it true that Canada used to just the other ';colonies'; that remained loyal to the British Crown?

I always thought there were 13. How many more were there? Is it true that Canada used to just the other ';colonies'; that remained loyal to the British Crown?
If you're talking about the American Revolution, there's no 'Canada' yet,

But, there was a large area called 'Quebec' that the Brits took from France, as a result of the French-Indian war of 1754. This therefore became - because of the conquest - a colony of Britain, that remained loyal to the crown; despite Ben Franklin's personal trip to invite them to join the revolution. The Brits expanded the borders of Quebec into the Ohio Valley, which was part of the 'Quebec Act', one of the Intolerable Acts that set off the Revolution.

Other colonies remaining loyal to Britain were Nova Scotia, and Newfoundland. Is it true that Canada used to just the other ';colonies'; that remained loyal to the British Crown?
no canada was a french colony. the Brits took control of it after the french and indian war which was only a few years before the revolution.
There were 13 American colonies. Canada was further north, and it was considered different territory.

PS - I'll tread on ye.
