No, unless you spray it on their.... manhood.... Even in that case, I don't really know.Is it true that if I use repellent w/ deet in it on boys under 3, that it will cause them to become sterile?
well look in the ticket, but throw away that comrcial repelents I know some better. Use B vitamine complex, that will make you stinky like a human repelent can, your sweat will smell like B vitamine, your skin and your urina. Also the complex protects against cold.
The form of use is this take two capsules at day since five days before be exposed to the mosquitoes, is important that you take five days befor because if you don麓t do that, the repelent don麓t will be totally effective.
I know other laband escence, but i never tried, is suposed that concentrate escence in spray can act like repelent, one teacher that works with butterflyes told me that, then i supose can work and this will be not agresive for your kids, and I don麓t know the exact B12 quantity for kids and I can麓t recomend this for they. But well, maybe you like ask to a doctor. Is it true that if I use repellent w/ deet in it on boys under 3, that it will cause them to become sterile?
No, it has some risks but sterility is not one of them.
As a precaution, manufacturers advise that DEET products should not be used under clothing or on damaged skin, and that preparations be washed off after they are no longer needed or between applications. DEET can act as an irritant; in rare cases, it may cause skin reactions.
In the DEET Reregistration Eligibility Decision (RED), the EPA reported 14 to 46 cases of potential DEET-associated seizures, including 4 deaths. The EPA states: '; ..it does appear that some cases are likely related to DEET toxicity,'; but observed that with 30% of the US population using DEET, the likely seizure rate is only about one per 100 million users.
The Pesticide Information Project of Cooperative Extension Offices of Cornell University states that ';Everglades National Park employees having extensive Deet exposure were more likely to have insomnia, mood disturbances and impaired cognitive function than were lesser exposed co-workers';.
The American Academy of Pediatrics found no difference in safety for children, between products containing 10% and 30% DEET, when used as directed, but recommends that DEET not be used on infants less than two months old.
Best of luck!
