In dealing with mice. is it true you cant re use a trap that has caught a mouse already?

You can use it over and over. No need to clean the blood off it. Mice will literally eat each other so the smell of blood only attracts them more. Simply dump the dead one out and rebait. In dealing with mice. is it true you cant re use a trap that has caught a mouse already?
Not true, mice are not very smart.

As long as you put some food on there that they like, it should work every time.

However, when it stops working, if you know where the mice are coming from, set up glue traps in the area. Beside fridges, under kitchen cabinets and drawers, etc. Not just one trap, but many.

You just basically catch the stupid ones first.

The ones left aren't stupid enough to fall for the ol' snap trap, and you will have to use glue.In dealing with mice. is it true you cant re use a trap that has caught a mouse already?
Yes, you can reuse a trap. Wash it out if there was blood in it. Put some food in it to attract the mice. If the mouse is still alive(I don't know what kind of trap you have) release it outside in an open field, some distance from your house.

Try to find how the mice are getting in and plug up the holes.
It depends on the trap. Snap traps can be used over and over. Glue traps cannot. Live traps get better each time you use them because they start to smell like mouse.
Thats not true at all lol if you arent alergic to cats I would suggest to get one you cant even leave it outside and let him come in a little and that will take care of your mousy problem
you can reuse it if you want to save money because theres no need for buying another one if you have one
yea i think so
