Is it true that using a bluetooth device in your ear causes cancer?

The jury is still out on this one as bluetooth devices emit low level radiaton in the near field. But if it a bluetooth headset or other device that you have against your body, then it is a real possibility.

The dangers from radio frequency transmissions are well known and very real. As time goes on more and more studies will reflect, just how dangerous these devices can be if not handled and used with some respect.

The thing to remember is that mobile phones and more recently bluetooth devices, have only started being used extensively in the last 8 or so years. It will take time for any definitive effects to become apparent. (typically 10 - 20 years), therefore anyone who says that they are not harmfull is doing so without any real knowledge or understanding!

The simple fact is that everyone should be aware that the longer you use these devices the greater your exposure and the cumulative affects are likely to be. There is no doubt whatsoever, and it is well documented that high levels of RF are DANGEROUS! Cell phones as with bluetooth devices transmit at much lower energy levels, but their consistant and prolonged use may well have a cumalitive effect.

Following is a very good and comprehensive link to some detailed neurological studies that have been conducted as to the effects of mobile phones and their associated dangers, which are only now starting to be realised more and more.Is it true that using a bluetooth device in your ear causes cancer?
No it does not cause cancer.

Bluetooth signals are shrot-range, high frequency radio waves. They do not cause cancer. In fact, there are some experimental studies which are trying to see if radio waves can cure cancer.
